What does it mean to be a GAINS Role Model!
GAINS role models connect directly with our student-members!
We encourage our club members to connect with role models in a variety of ways including:
- through our Slack community channels
- GAINS leaders can search our role model data base and reach out to specific role models to set-up an online video conferences or (if possible) in-person meeting for their school-based GAINS club.
- GAINS virtual events feature our role models highlight a subset of GAINS role models and are structured to encourage conversation by using a group discussion format, live video feed or recorded interviews hosted by student members.
Clubs are looking forward to connecting directly with role models so they can host on-site speakers, panel events and small group discussions when it is safe to do so.

Once you are part of the GAINS community you can opt into our virtual events, respond to student requests through the GAINS platform or join other GAINS events as they are scheduled. There are lots of ways to be involved and we are confident we have events that will fit your schedule.
